Welcome to Vocal Music at Carpenter Elementary!  

Music is a language in which everyone can understand and connect.  I have the most amazing job of creating and nurturing those connections.

Our students will explore a variety of instruments, learn how to sing, read rhythms, notate music, explore music history, integrate core academic subjects within our curriculum, perform, and much more!

In our music room, I strive to have the music curriculum reflect the cultural diversity of our student population and the world in which we live.

Each grade has one concert or musical performance each school year.  I also love to incorporate music field trips with specific grades each year.
