Hello from the art room! This is my 6th year teaching art to Young 5s through Fifth grade students at Carpenter Elementary. I am proud to be a Carpenter Cougar!
I have been teaching art since 2016 and working in AAPS since 2019. I started my career teaching high school and middle school visual art at a preparatory academy in Brighton. I have my Bachelor's Degree from Miami of Ohio University, the Academy of Art University in San Francisco,
and my Post-Baccalaureate certification in Visual Arts Education (K-12) from Eastern Michigan.  When I am not teaching, you can find me in my studio at home, painting, drawing, or doing digital art. I am also an avid fan of interior decorating, home renovations, landscaping, and snuggling with my cat, Gladys.
