Hello! My name is Trisha Shah and I am so honored to be teaching at King Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher. I grew up in Toronto, Canada and completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Western Ontario and then pursued my Masters in Education in Buffalo, NY. My previous teaching experience also included working as a reading and math intervention teacher, and I am very excited to bring that knowledge into the classroom. As I enter my 13th year in education, I am so grateful to be part of the King community and I am really looking forward to a great year meeting my students, parents and working alongside the wonderful team at King!

When I am not teaching, I spend time with my husband and two children. We love reading stories together, playing outdoors, bike riding and working on puzzles! I also love to try new recipes, baking treats and traveling with my family. I am looking forward to us having an amazing year together and can’t wait to get started!
